Generation Y

Generation Y is the generation i was born into this consists of people
born between the mid 1980's and the millennium. i believe that
Generation Y is not a good fit for our generation. I don't like that
name because i feel like we were just given that name because we come
after generation x and this doesn't say anything about our generation. i
think a better name for our generation could be something that had to do
with our upset ion with technology or how were always on the go. I think
something like generation connect would be suitable because we are
constantly networking with everyone between social networking sites text
messaging, instant messaging we are constantly connected with all of our
friends. for these reasons i believe something like generation connect
would work better than generation Y.

An ordinary weekend

Today is Monday February 04,2008 and i an just looking back on my weekend of up and downs. This weekend started off well with a fun Thursday night in the suit i don't have classes on Fridays so we were kinda hanging out. eventually we went to bed only to be woken up by some RAs in out suit. When the RA's came i was in bed and i don't think many people were there but they knocked on my door and then they looked around the suit a little bit. that was not a big deal because i was not involved. but Friday came around and i was supposed to go skiing on Saturday so we were just taking it easy Friday night. trought the night we were crushing numbers and i found out that there was not enough room in the car so i was not going skin Saturday.I decided to go home Saturday and home was great i later found out that my friends had drove 3 and a half hoers to killington for it to be closed due to wind so they turned around and drove home. this was not that bad for me because i found out that i didn't miss anything. so super bowl Sunday rolls around and we are all pumped. the game was enjoyable for the most part but thats all i will talk about the game due to unnecessary stresses brought on with continued talk of yesterdays activities. overall the weekend had its ups and downs mostly downs but life goes on...

the first blog

Hi my name is Nick DeRoo, and i go to school in boston at Wentworth Institute of technology. At Wentworth I am majoring in Computer networking and i am enjoying myself so far. I'm taking an English class this semester and in this class we will be keeping a blog about various topics trough out the semester. This is my second semester here at Wentworth, and i am loving everything about it college is great and living in Boston is amazing. Some things that i like to do fore fun are Photography , Mountain biking, skiing, Basketball, tubing Water skiing and basically anything that has to do with water or outside. I really enjoy photography and have some of my photos on a website witch i update periodically. So i guess that concludes my first blog entire and you will be hearing from me soon.
